Donna Huff greeted us with a smile. As she took my husband back to the room for same-day surgery, she said she would be back for me. It was not long. He was in bed, had the IV hooked up, talking, relaxed, smiling. Donna had made a good connection with him. She made me feel confident that he would be well taken care of. She kept us informed with what was going to happen, and after he was taken to surgery, she came back with a snack for me. It was very much appreciated. Later she came to keep me updated on him, and I was cold. In a second, she left to come back with a pillow, blanket and turned on a heat hose-well I don’t know the proper name, but it blew good warm air, and I was happy as a clam. She was a very thoughtful, efficient nurse for my husband and me. She went off duty before we left, but my husband and I received the best care from her. Before she left, she bought us a lunch kit each and a drink. He was able to eat most of his, and he needed the food since he had to fast before the surgery. Donna took good care of him, I am very grateful, and he was also. He will never forget the extraordinary care he received. Thank you Donna Huff.
