Marta is an elder Nurse like myself and I’ve noticed that the staff members on Toghill appear to be a close team; however, I do know that there can be shortages, just like any other ward in the hospital.

Whilst on my stay this time, I have noticed that there have been many patients that needed 1-1 care and on one particular night, I found that Marta was on with just one other Staff Nurse, but there were at least 2 patients needing 1-1 care that night. This particular night, Marta managed to balance all of this. I may have had to wait a little bit, but most things were completed on time and she also asked me every time if I was okay and if I needed anything. Marta is the Nurse that I like to think I myself once was – someone who would care for patients as you would want yourself to be cared for. Marta has showcased many of the skills that a Nurse would represent and with this, she has shown bountiful amounts of love, compassion, and integrity.
