Denise has grown to be an outstanding nurse. Since her employment at Sutter as relieving RN for ACU, PACU, and GI lab, Denise has taken several roles. She is always willing to accept roles in any department doing GI cases, recovering patients in PACU, and doing blocks. When Denise has downtime, she helps with pre-op calls and does her best to do break relief for her co-workers in ACU, PACU, and GI lab. Her patients always compliment her for her caring attitude towards them.

Recently being short-staffed and having sick calls, Denise willingly assumed duties in GI lab without being asked to do so, making a day, that could turn out chaotic, very manageable, and un-eventful. She works fast and efficiently taking the best care of her patients. If Denise notices something is needing improvement, she takes the initiative to make sure she corrects the situation. She advocates for her patients making sure that they are always safe.
