I have worked with Miranda in the IPR unit for 15 years, She has continued to impress me with her work ethic and ability to get anything done that we ask of her. She goes above and beyond for me, the doctor, her nurses, and patients. Her attention to detail and ability to multitask and troubleshoot is exemplary. We have had many challenges in the IPR unit and she has been a constant and loyal "team player". Even during this recent surge in COVID 19, as our unit has been converted to a med-surg unit, she has been a leader to the entire staff and never complains. Her service goes beyond work hours. For the past several years she has coordinated our unit's Salvation Army "Adopt a Family" program. She has coordinated/shopped wrapped gifts for families in need. Her effort is huge and a monumental task. This year we have a mom with 7 children who will probably have the best Christmas ever due to Miranda's extraordinary job well done!! She is a true DAISY Nurse.
