I have been privileged to work with Nurse Ceile on Labor and delivery as an OBGYN resident, I have learned from her and we have grown together in caring for our patients. She has always impressed me with her dedication to her patients and seeking excellence in clinic care and growth through learning. Recently I switched roles, as I became Ceile’s patient on L&D when I came in to deliver my own baby. She made me feel heard and safe, honoring and enabling me to achieve my desired birth goals while keeping me and my baby healthy. I experienced firsthand the compassion I have witnessed Ceile provide to each and every one of her patients. While L&D can be a challenging place to work, with at times very acute patients and situations that change quickly, as well as an ever-growing field of knowledge that requires constant reevaluation of the safest way to provide care, Ceile is always enthusiastic about rising to the occasion to keep the moms and babies in her excellent care safe and supported.
