Ellena was assigned to Mr. F when he experienced emergent blood pressure issues. Mr. F was so impressed with Ellena and felt he should let me know. In his own statement, he described Ellena with 3 p's- professional, personal, and patient. He said Ellena went above and beyond, "she did not just perform her duties but was relentless in the pursuit of my personal and medical care". He was also intrigued with the fact that Ellena was so young (about his daughter's age) and yet carried herself so well. He went on to say that, "she stringently followed the hospital's policy and procedure to secure those objectives while perhaps, more importantly, securing my emergent medical needs. She did all this with the spirit of humility which impressed me even more. She was not just meeting a quota she showed legitimate interest in my care". Ellena is a new addition to the 5 Marian team and I, for one, I am excited she is on my team and part of Holy Name. Ellena portrays the core values of HNMC and also showed why this place is different. She deserves to be commended.
