This team is seen as clinical advocates working proactively with our clients to extend the value our solutions enable.
Jordanna Davis (team Leader) and the four other clinical consultants are the exemplar of going above and beyond in all aspects of their work shining bright and making Cerner proud; allow us to explain further. When we joined in 2018/9, we had a client base and an internal group who did not see the value of the clinical consultant role, to the point of removing them from projects. This was due to a multitude of reasons. When Jordanna came on board, she was determined to change this and make sure the role was valued and we could attract high-caliber clinicians to the role. As only one of three CC’s covering the entire region, Jordanna and the rest of the team worked extensively with the client base and internally to increase the value our clients expect from their projects and for ongoing support. The team has worked tirelessly to build confidence in the value they bring to a project and have developed strong respected relationships inside Cerner to support this. They are also seen as clinical advocates working proactively with our clients to extend the value our solutions enable. The team's deep clinical knowledge and excellent relationship-building skills have been fundamental to their success.

Jordanna and the team have expanded and enhanced our focus on clinical governance and patient safety that aligns with the expectations of our clients and supports health services delivering safe clinical practice. This has been seen as a major step forward by our client base in supporting the ongoing uses and expansion of what Cerner sells and implements. The team is seen as facilitators in the value that nursing informatics skills and knowledge can bring to a digital hospital. This has included significant client involvement in endorsement of clinical workflows through model, support of our client through COVID and presentation, and driving the value brought by our regional Nursing Special Interest Group. This has culminated in the work we have started with clients on ECD and that Jordanna has been asked to co-present the findings of the client project with the Hospitals nursing team.
