We expressed our concerns to Trevor and he immediately began to explain everything that was going on.
Our loved one arrived at St. Bernards CVICU in the middle of the night after being transferred from another facility. Our family has had a number of bad experiences with the facility that she was transferred from so we were very anxious and did not have much information about her status. The next morning Trevor was her nurse. We expressed our concerns to him and he immediately began to explain everything that was going on. He was thorough and made sure that he was using language that we could all understand. This relieved a lot of anxiety for our loved one and the family.

Then I got to watch how he cared for my loved one and I was so glad that he was her nurse. Not only did he take vitals and administer medicine, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that she was comfortable and that the family's questions were answered. He gave her motivating words while also being honest about her situation. While talking to our loved one I noticed her o2 saturation dropping. Trevor came in and silenced alarms while making the necessary adjustments to her oxygen without alarming the family so that we could have a few moments with her. His attentiveness and excellent bedside manner made a huge impression on us and made our experience great given the circumstances.
