A strong Education team builds an atmosphere that is conducive to success:

1. Hospital-wide implementation of Lippincott E-competency for all Fakeeh Care Nursing staff, maintaining more than 1000 Electronic competency databases.

2. Successful implementation of 3 months Transition to Practice program for more than 30 new graduates.

3. Key user and system managers for Medication Automation Project.

4. Resource team for the online BD training program for all DSFH staff.

5. Played a major role in the HIMSS 6 accreditation.

6. Organized and conducted Renal Dialysis Program.

7. Organized, coordinated, and monitored CSSD trainees from other organizations.

8. Leading the coordination of faculty staff and hospital staff in conducting 5 research projects in the hospital and organizing research workshops for hospital nursing staff.

9. With an ongoing research project entitled, “Impact of Shared Governance in staff Empowerment”.

10. Conducted gap assessment. Application submitted, with ongoing self-study preparation. Attended multiple workshops with ANCC team.

11. Key users for the implementation of Closed Loop Administration hospital-wide.

12. Implemented Career Ladder and Succession Planning Policy.

13. Coordinated for the initiation of 7 short online courses with more than 130 participants.

14. Updated all nursing forms and admission packages to be available during system downtime.

15. EMR key users/Nursing Informatics role, available as a superuser for 24X7 for the whole hospital including its satellite centers.

16. Monitoring quality data for the nursing division.

17. Maintaining updated nursing policies.

18. Education in preparation for JCIA /AABB accreditation with successful outcomes.

19. Contribution for the Planetree accreditation. Played a major role in the plane tree gap assessment, application, and ongoing preparation

20. Advance practice-Wound care. Practicing advanced nursing care related to wound management, receiving patient referrals, and replying to consultations.

21. Leading Magnet Journey at Fakeeh Care.

22. Numerous activities are conducted on a monthly basis to provide required CME hours for nursing staff.

The above achievements are in addition to the routine work of the education department such as Nursing orientation programs, Internship management programs, student clinical training, and external trainee management. They are investing in team building to enjoy higher productivity, higher profits, and better customer satisfaction.
