She held her hand, talked with compassion, used touch and really listened.
Last night that alarm was going off, nurses had come in before and turned it off and asked mom to take a deep breath and left. Lisa came in looked at the monitor, silenced it, then held my mom's hand and talked to her about deep breathing. She moved her up in her bed. Lisa noticed that was making enough difference. She called respiratory, he came and they worked together and then called the doctor. My mom's oxygen was changed to high flow.

Lisa stayed with mom for over an hour. She held her hand, talked with compassion, used touch and really listened. She stands out among the nurses here and you should recognize her for that.
