My father was admitted to the ICU with a serious bacteremia and was septic. I live in Tennessee. While I was trying to get a flight home, I called several times for updates. Michael was very patient and kind. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Michael embodies all the best and most important characteristics of an excellent nurse. He is extremely intelligent and honest. He was an amazing advocate for my dad. My father has dementia and Michael demonstrated unending patience. Knowing the level of exceptional care he provided to my dad gave me peace of mind until I could get into town. I cannot articulate how grateful I am that Michael was assigned to my dad. My father does not have a good memory but continues to talk about "what a fantastic nurse" Michael is. Your institution is very lucky to have such a stellar RN in your midst. I have been an RN for 20 years and a PNP for 6 years. I also have education RN for 10 years. Michael is exceptional.
