Dana was working a night shift at St. Joe's. She had a patient who was very frustrated by an obstacle outside of his medical care. This elderly patient was getting more and more worked up about this outside situation. Apparently, he was told he needed to get an updated Veterans ID Card. This patient told everyone that came in the room about his dilemma. When Dana had a free moment she looked up the information on Scott Air Force Base's website. Date/time/location/what he needed to do before arriving. She then passed all the info on to his caregiver also. This is a great example of going above and beyond for her patient. She eased his mind and helped to heal his body, mind, and soul! Thank you, Dana!
