Lauren stepped up and, using her own camera, she came in even on her day off to take these very special baby photos.
4E is a unique unit. We are part of the mother/infant units. We are the high-risk antepartum patients, GYN patients, postpartum patients and we also take care of those special moms who have lost their babies. These babies can be as young as 10 weeks to 40+ weeks. Every one of our demise patients is special. We do everything with L&D to give them memories before their babies are picked up by the funeral home. One of our goals is to have pictures done for an everlasting memory. When COVID came, our photography company was not allowed to come to take the photos. Lauren stepped up and, using her own camera, she came in even on her day off to take these very special baby photos. The photos were very much appreciated by the families. I don't know what we would have done without Lauren. She made memories.
