Beth, you ask questions, analyze our data and use it for process improvement, seeking out opportunities to keep the program moving forward.
This celebration of you is long overdue and I am so happy we get to recognize you today for ALL the wonderful work you have been doing with the stroke program.   Year in, year out, survey after survey for the Primary Stroke Center Certification, we have always received glowing reviews and while true, it takes the whole team with the support of our leaders to have the program thrive, YOU are at the center of coordinating all the pieces to ensure the gears turn smoothly.  Since the inception of the stroke program in 2010, the work that has gone into sustaining, building, and expanding it has increased tremendously and you have been at the helm, looking forward, anticipating the next steps.  You ask questions, analyze our data and use it for process improvement, seeking out opportunities to keep the program moving forward.   I truly admire you for all the hard work you put into NB and the stroke program, from policies, staff education, data analysis, running the support group, and now seeing patients, just to name a few.    I initially wrote this letter because I wanted to share my sincerest appreciation for all that you do but I am so glad our leaders have taken it one step further in awarding you this well-deserved DAISY Nurse Leader Award to you.   I am honored that I have been able to work alongside you all these years.
