When we arrived at Jim Thorpe, we were all very scared and especially my mother. She did not have a good experience at the hospital and she was scared her transfer to a new facility would be hard. She had just had her leg amputated above the knee at 80 years old. When we arrived, we were greeted by the most compassionate and caring nurse. Tracy was so incredibly kind. She paid attention to my mom and made her feel so welcome. She always explained everything that she was going to do prior to doing it. The extraordinary kindness of Tracy is amazing and so appreciated. The entire staff at Jim Thorpe is incredible but Tracy really stood out. She welcomed us with open arms, a great smile, and gentle ways. My mother and our family could not have asked for anyone better. My mother’s entire stay was amazing because of Tracy.
