Joy's attention to detail, great communication skills, and ready smile made the experience even better than expected.
I’m a daughter of residents in New Bridge Medical Center. I wanted to thank Joy (Eunsuk) and to let her know how much I appreciate the excellent service provided to my parents in Nursing Home. People who are sick or elderly people need our help the most. Sometimes words of comfort and encouragement from someone outside of family means so much in maintaining confidence and a positive way of thinking. Joy’s customer service skills are exemplary. She is one of the friendliest people that I know in the Nursing Home. She always has a smile on her face and a happy greeting for my parents and family members. She also has an ability to communicate effectively with all of her patients. Her attention to detail, great communication skills, and ready smile made the experience even better than expected.

Mrs. Joy Eunsuk Lee is a nurse like a mother. She is kind, warm, and speaks with condolence, always doing her best in any situation. Sometimes she delays her meals and put residents' needs first. We are lucky to have a nurse like her. She has been helping us LTC unit residents like a mother looking to meet our needs. I appreciate having an opportunity to introduce her as our real hero and honor.

With Covid, the admission process has changed and Joy has been a trusted and hardworking lead over this work during her shift. No matter the caseload of emergency Joy always engages her patients and co-workers with a smile. She has a high level of commitment often working without taking time out to eat dinner on most nights. Many of her patients have shared their love for Joy and hope she will be given the honor. The last thing I would like to share is that Joy was already a nurse in her home country of Korea prior to coming to the U.S. Joy's love of nursing is so heart felt that she went back to school when her kids were older to get her R.N. transferring from Recreation. Then and now she reminds us how we all can make an impact when we pursue our passion and strive for excellence in our work and relationships. We pray for continued favor for Joy.
