She took care of my kids when they visited me. She arranged activities for them and made their visit enjoyable. She took care of me in emergency and when I had unbearable pain, she made sure she was there until I was comfortable. This nurse was so nice and patient with us. She answered all of our questions really thoroughly and was so knowledgeable about everything.

She worked hard to get mom's pain meds on a schedule that made her so much more comfortable. She remembered mom’s preferences and always asked her what they were too. She met our needs quickly and never made us feel like we were asking for too much. She was soooo funny and made our stay more fun! We just adored her. She should train other nurses because she is so good. She keeps things light and helped my mom not to feel bad about physical difficulties. She calmed her when she was scared and gave our family such great support too. She’s great at prioritizing tasks and making people feel heard, seen, and important.

This nurse was caring for a young mom who was terminally ill. Not only did she provide exceptional care to the patient, but she developed a level of trust that reduced that patient’s pain and anxiety. She went above and beyond even when she worked to allow the patient’s young children to visit when it was a concern if the patient would ever make it home again. She provided supplies for them to make legacy crafts that they will be able to keep in remembrance of their mom.
