When rounding on a family, they gave wonderful comments regarding Tajera! “She was a huge patient advocate not only for my child but also me (mother)". We came to the hospital for relief and mom did not feel like her child was getting it. Mom asked for help and was in tears. She said she felt like Tajera heard her concerns when the doctors did not because before you knew it there were two more nurses and two more RTs in the room. Mom said soon after her child was placed on HFNC and had instant relief. She said, "my child was like a brand new baby and feeling better and I know it was because of Tajera and her advocating for my child. I can’t thank her enough for that!”

Wow, what a wonderful experience that Tajera was able to provide to this family. She was able to not only provide care but actually listen and comfort the family. She really delivered patient and family-centered care.
