Cat put massive hours into ensuring our nurses and providers received training and maintained flexibility in the face of constant change.
During the pre-go live work for Epic UTHET, the organization was faced with a unique set of challenges... balancing COVID, working under a virtual environment, and working with a facility under a staffing crisis. One of the largest tasks the team faced was training the thousands of end users at UT. Epic training was on the verge of failing. Cat was brought in to assist with the effort. She put countless hours into the training program, while still managing her other responsibilities with informatics, meaningful use, governance facilitation, continuous improvement, and enterprise new hire training amongst other things. Cat put massive hours into ensuring our nurses and providers received training and maintained flexibility in the face of constant change. Much of the Epic success at UT can be attributed to Cat's contributions. She went above and beyond for the sake of our clinicians, often to the point of tears and exhaustion, but did not give up. Cat's dedication and resilience in supporting our nurses and doctors is a living example of Ardent's mission & values.
