With so many years of service, there are way too many situations to discuss. One that pops to my mind is a patient that wasn’t even hers who had been admitted to the hospital. The patient’s sister had passed away, and the family came to tell her. After the information was given, the patient became distraught and began to cry. Peggy, being the best person in this facility, went into the room with the patient and began to pray with her. She sat down beside her and allowed the patient to cry while showing the empathy a nurse needs to have. I would consider this the gold standard of Love Me and Keep Me Safe.
