Erica was my pre-op nurse for cataract surgery. I was nervous about this procedure and she was so fun and engaging, which helped me to relax. She had to spend a lot of time with me giving me the various eye drops before the procedure, and she made that time pass quickly by asking me about my family and making great conversation. It would have been so easy to just do what she needed to do and leave the room, but she stayed with me to make sure I was okay. I know the OR is super busy, but she and the rest of the team made it a warm and personal experience like I was the only patient in the whole place. She did a great job making me feel confident that I was in the best hands and that things would go well. If I ever need surgery again, I sure hope she is my pre-op nurse.
