My husband and I talked several times on the way home and after we got home about how we felt so lucky that I got Brad as my nurse because he took such great care of me.
My surgery prep seemed a little hectic because come to find out, the original nurse assigned to me had been stuck in a meeting. So there were a handful of nurses in and out to get me ready, but once Brad arrived, he stayed. When Brad first walked into my pre-op room, I almost considered asking for a female nurse just because of my surgery taking place in such a private and embarrassing area of my body.

As he was placing my IV, I kept looking at the cross with Jesus hanging on the opposite wall asking for guidance and I could feel him placing it on my heart that this was part of his plan. Boy am I glad I didn’t listen to my original thoughts. When I woke up, I was so happy to see Brad’s familiar face, he was the only one I could have recognized out of all the people who had been in there with me during pre-op. Brad was attentive, patient, loving, kind, caring, respectful, all of the qualities that Jesus taught us to exhibit. He was so thorough in explaining my post-op care with my husband to make sure he understood everything.

My husband and I talked several times on the way home and after we got home about how we felt so lucky that I got Brad as my nurse because he took such great care of me. We could totally tell that he loves his job and sincerely cares about his patients. I’ve had a lot of nurses before, but none like Brad. Thank you, Brad! Your work is appreciated and does not go unnoticed.
