Laura was working nights when I had my c-section and my husband and I don’t know what we would have done without her. We stayed for two nights and during that time I struggled to get feeding established with my baby and struggled to cope with my pain levels. The ward was very busy, but Laura had so much time for me, my husband, and baby O. Laura did everything with patience and genuine warmth and compassion, and we feel so grateful that she was part of O's first days. We could hear Laura with other patients too and she gave everyone the same level of care, time, and professionalism. As an overwhelmed new mum, Laura made me feel safe and cared for and I couldn’t have asked for more.
