Kelly is an angel and she showed extraordinary compassion for our newborn that required a stay in the NICU for respiratory issues. Kelly took the time to talk to us and comfort us during this trying time. Just last year my wife and I were expecting twins which we, unfortunately, lost at 16 weeks of gestation and our new baby staying in the NICU brought some of those feelings back. Kelly comforted us and reassured us of the great progress our son was making. Not only that, but Kelly was an incredible advocate for our son and made sure he received the appropriate care. Her expertise was evident by the way she spoke to us and cared for our son. Kelly took the time to get to know us and our story beyond us simply being another family in the NICU. She constantly reassured us of our son’s care and we were always confident when Kelly walked into the room. Words cannot express the love we have for Kelly because of what she has done for our son. Kelly’s compassion goes beyond just being a nurse… she is an amazing person with a beautiful heart and we will always cherish the love she showed for our family.
