Day after day I've watched these nurses give every ounce of themselves to our patients.
The past few months in the PICU have been quite the whirlwind. Honestly, the past year has been hectic but through all the chaos each shift, these nurses have shown up and delivered the best and most compassionate care to some of the sickest patients. Day after day I've watched these nurses give every ounce of themselves to our patients. Day after day I've watched these nurses give of themselves to support the needs of the unit. Day after day I've watched these nurses care for each other like family. I could go on and on about the PICU nurses and how truly amazing they are and about how well they demonstrate empathy, care, and professionalism. Though they don't ask for recognition, they are more than deserving of it.
