I have had many visits to ERs over the years, as have my loved ones. I have blood work done frequently too. Two years ago I was hospitalized for acute renal failure. My care was in the hospital was round-the-clock. I did like my nurses but I felt everything that they did. Tonight when in the ER I had to get an IV. In all my years I have NEVER had such a truly phenomenal experience as with Erika Melgar RN. The IV was painless and I didn't feel a thing! Erika was so incredibly kind, very pleasant and so upbeat. It was so refreshing! Novant Health is blessed to have her on their care team. She is the epitome of what an RN is and should be.
