I have been in and out of the hospital several times over the past three months. Then one day in March, Chauntyse walked into my patient room. During the time I was there, Chauntyse made my stay so much easier. She listened when I needed her, whether I was crying or complaining, and we laughed hysterically at silly jokes or the circumstance. I don't know how or why Chauntyse walked into my life that day, but I'm sure glad she did. Chauntyse, you helped me through a very hard time with a smile and a shoulder to lean on. You deserve this award, and there are many others who agree with me. Thanks again for everything you do and don't forget to check on the white picket fencers! You don't have to send the Dole truck to my house! Congrats!
