I want to nominate Becky because she is a wonderful nurse and co-worker. She previously worked in the ICU, then surgery, and now is a preceptor. She has a wealth of knowledge and skill that she demonstrates every day. As a new nurse, she is someone that I can lean on when I have questions or need advice. She finds the time to help when people ask for it, when she notices someone may need help, or she will go out of her way to talk things through with me. She is a wonderful teacher and someone that everyone loves and appreciates.

I previously had a patient with upward of 20+ allergies, which included some that are given in surgeries. Becky took the time to walk me through the procedure and go over any questions I had about medication interactions, allergies, intolerances, etc. that I had. She is constantly teaching me more and more every day. Becky truly is a wonderful preceptor, co-worker, and nurse. She makes people feel comfortable and safe with her positivity and cheerful energy which is always important in surgery.
