Molly's persistence in providing the care I needed was greatly appreciated.
The pain was increasing, and I felt sicker than I had earlier in the day. The physician recommended not taking pain medication to prevent slowing the gut. Molly came on to the shift and immediately assessed my needs. She communicated with the physician to find the best pain and nausea relief and helped me to become more comfortable. Molly's nursing assessment skills, advocacy for my healthcare needs, and caring put me at ease and significantly improved my patient experience. She explained what she was doing as she did it even knowing I was a nurse by profession but at the moment I was a patient with questions and concerns about my health. Molly's persistence in providing the care I needed was greatly appreciated.
