Shawand is such an amazing nurse. She educated, she listens, she smiles, she cares. This made my experience here as a first-time mom one to remember. Not only am I a first-time mom, but I'm also a first-time patient. In all of my 32 years of life, I have never been a patient in a hospital setting. To be honest, being pregnant, this was something I was not looking forward to. But my experience here was great and nurse Shawand was the icing on the cake. I rarely take the time to do surveys but this level of care MUST be recognized. She even walked down my pumped breast milk to my baby at 2 AM and at 5 AM. She is something special.
