I could see that Amy took pride in her work.
My son was admitted to this unit and Amy was his nurse from day one. She has been an exceptional nurse. She explained the medicines and the reason why my son was getting the medications. Every time she would come into the room and perform a procedure, she would inform us of what she was doing. She made sure that my son was comfortable and clean. We had met other nurses and are grateful for their services, but none compared to how well Amy has treated my son and his family. She showed much love and compassion to her patients.

When my nephew was first admitted to the unit Amy was his nurse and she was on top of everything. She answered all our questions. She was caring and I was very happy that she was his nurse. I have witnessed how she cared, treated the patient with so much respect. She checked on the patient more often and made sure that they are comfortable and clean. I could see that she took pride in her work.

Ms. Amy Phung became part of our 5B/5F family in April 2021 when she successfully completed the ICU program. During my rounds, I observed how Amy interacted with her patients. She demonstrated empathy and compassion for her patients and their families. She is a hard worker, and very active.
Amy, your thoughtfulness is a gift that many patients assigned to your care will always remember. I am grateful to have you as part of our SICU/PCU team. Thank you, for your willingness to work hard, your dedication, and commitment to deliver the best patient care.
