My dad was a patient who just had a major surgery (Whipple Procedure), and Hannah Mack was the RN on duty. I got to the room to visit with my dad and Hannah came into the room and explained everything to me. She smiled and laughed and listened and helped me to understand the things I did not already understand. When she left the room, my dad told me that she was the kindest person and that she was the most helpful and nicest person. He said that anything and everything she did she explained in detail. She was informed that dad is hard of hearing without his hearing aids, unfortunately, his hearing aids battery had run dead but that did not stop her from going above and beyond for my dad. She slowed down her speaking and spoke louder and carried on a conversation with him. They talked about our dogs that we had at home and even his past dog that he had. They discussed my Army Medic brother who is currently out of state. I have to say that I am VERY PLEASED with Hannah. She explained that she had given dad a bath and made sure he was taken care of. She did not make us feel like she was rushed. And she complimented dad many times saying he was so sweet. Thank you Hannah for allowing me and my family to feel great about dad's care when we are not there to be able to do it ourselves. Keep doing great work, never stop. THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!
