I am a security supervisor at Ascension Providence Hospital - Novi campus. I have worked here for 13 years and during that time I have worked with some outstanding people. I always knew that Megan Finnis was bright, intelligent, and dedicated to her job. Unfortunately, in October 2021 I discovered just how good she really is. I was admitted to the hospital with COVID-19. I was lucky enough to be placed in 3C. All the staff on 3C were caring and compassionate but Megan went above and beyond. She was attentive, compassionate, and exhibited the highest level of Nursing Care. Megan was very proactive when it came to my care. Not only was she expedient with medications and treatments, but she also anticipated my needs and was offering solutions. If I had a cough, she offered cough syrup. If I couldn’t sleep, she offered solutions. I basically wanted for nothing. She is a top-shelf nurse and Ascension is lucky to have her. I can’t say enough about Megan's care, devotion to her craft, and nursing prowess. I’m fortunate again to have been under her care.
