Jori prayed with me and shed tears with me.
Jori is very compassionate and went above and beyond any health care professional I’ve ever met. While in the hospital, I received a call my father was admitted to ICU. Jori put in an order to take me off the floor via wheelchair to see my dad. Dad was then transferred to hospice. Jori sat with me and held my hand while I notified siblings he “probably would not make the night” as assessed by the hospice team. She prayed with me and shed tears with me. If it was not for her compassion and action, I would not have seen my father before he died.

I experienced an epidural complication after the birth of my son that caused severe pain. Jori sat with me as I cried and provided every comfort measure she could. She empathized and validated my pain and pushed for a blood patch which ultimately relieved my pain. When she was at the end of her shift she said goodbye and left me a note that read, “I’m proud of you! Today was a very hard day. And you are strong and a wonderful momma! You did incredible today! I’m thinking of you and your beautiful family and wish you the absolute best! Your RN, Jori”. She deserves all the recognition in the world.
