Daniel took the extra time out of his day to make a sign that has all of the usual stuff, but then also added BRAILLE to the sign!
Daniel always goes above and beyond to make sure that his patients and family members are well taken care of and feel special. But today, he learned that there was a patient on the unit who was born without eyes. We usually make signs for our babies that have their name, birth date, and weight/ height. So since this baby was born without the ability to see, Daniel took the extra time out of his day to make a sign that has all of the usual stuff, but then also added BRAILLE to the sign! How unique and thoughtful is that!? The mother of the infant was incredibly touched and very thankful that Daniel made this sign and I think this shows how Daniel goes above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of not only his patients but all the patients around him.
