A patient was devastated she was hospitalized and may miss her planned trip to see her three-year-old granddaughter she hadn’t seen in quite a while. “Magan absolutely went beyond the requirements and expectations of a nurse. She is extremely kind, caring, and nice. No matter what I put her through, having an accident in the bed, asking for pain medications, or crying, Magan took on the role best suited to comfort me and assured me there was hope. I’m pretty certain she made the doctor aware that I was devastated at the thought of not seeing her. I believe this helped me get out of the hospital as soon as possible. Yes, Magan is a great nurse but during my visit, she became much, much more. My visit with my granddaughter was amazing and I am full of gratitude to Magan for helping to make that possible. I also want to thank her for assuring me everything was going to be okay. Guess what? She was right. Thank you so much, Magan! If you are unfortunate enough to be in the hospital, I hope you are fortunate enough to have Magan taking care of you."
