Michael made me feel comfortable with my procedure from the day before when he called me to discuss the procedure with me at home. His calm demeanor and ability to converse were evident as he explained exactly what was going to happen to me and what the positives and negatives of the procedure would be. Prior to him calling, I wasn’t even sure what my doctor had scheduled for me.

After speaking to him for upward of 5 minutes, I completely understood what was being done and what the outcomes could be. On the day of my procedure, Michael greeted me outside of the procedure room, introduced me to the physician performing my procedure, and continued to provide outstanding care. He kept me comfortable during my procedure which had my arms in an awkward position. After the procedure I felt obliged to notify Michael’s supervisor of his tact, professionalism, caring, and overall positive impact on my procedure. Michael’s ability as a nurse made a daunting visit feel like a routine office visit.
