Of the multiple times my dad has been admitted into the hospital, Ali DeHart has been the BEST Nurse ever!! My dad would be so happy whenever Ali came into his room. She always made sure he was comfortable, and always asked him and any other family members visiting if anything was needed. At times when my dad would be hungry a lot and she would always tell him, "whenever you are hungry we will order you some food." She connected with my dad, looking him in his eyes, talking to him, and more importantly listening to him. Whenever I wasn't able to be with him at the hospital, I knew Ali would take great care of my dad. It means a lot to family knowing that when you are not able to be with your loved ones in the hospital, they do have caring nurses like Ali! She would be like a ray of sunshine and always light up the room and to see my dad's eyes light up whenever in her presence meant so much to me. His responses to her showed me that my dad trusted Ali with his care. Even when he was moved to another department, she would stop by to see how he was and my dad would always say, "Hi Hon!" All other nurses my dad encountered really had some big shoes to fill. And when he was transferred to another facility, we really wished we could have packed up Ali to go with him. She has a way of making you feel like family and you rest assured in knowing that she does care for your loved one. Thank you, Ali DeHart!
