Anglea started off as a CNA and from that point on she knew she wanted to do much more for her patients. Her greatest accomplishment as a nurse is receiving the Angel Award from a hospital she previously worked at along with now being a DAISY Award recipient.

“Becoming a leader and a preceptor for our new nursing staff that are just beginning makes it worth it,” she said. When asked what the DAISY Award means to her, Angie says, “Words can’t describe the feeling of excitement and joy knowing that I made such a difference in my patient care. I was speechless. This DAISY Award is something I will always treasure for the rest of my life. It’s truly an honor to receive such a special award.”
