Lexi is originally from Morristown and chose to work at MHHS because she loves her community. “Caring for those in my area has always been something I dreamed of,” says Lexi. Her goal while working at MHHS is to never stop learning while providing the best care to her community.” She says her inspiration for being a nurse is the feeling she gets from watching the first breath of life.

Her greatest accomplishment is knowing that she can impact the lives of others while caring for moms and babies. When asked what the DAISY Award means to her, Lexi says, “This Award confirms their love and support as my purpose as a nurse. Every doubt, every long shift, every hand case, and every sacrifice is worth it to know we’re still changing and saving lives.”
