During the duration of Kizzie’s shift, she went above and beyond to help us. She stayed in the room with us the entire shift missed her lunch to make sure the baby and mom were safe and taken care of during a stressful afternoon. She was extremely helpful and respectful during calm and stressful situations.

When our baby girl started to have a lower than normal heart rate during contractions, Kizzie was right there to calm nerves, calmly implement the doctor's plan of care, and continue to reassure us that everything is fine. We were extremely sad to see Kizzie leave after her shift was completed. My wife is a Cardiac ICU Nurse at TCH and Kizzie’s bedside manner, work ethic, and words of encouragement impressed my wife. Kizzie is the prime example of what a nurse looks like when they are called to this line of work.
