Ralph took care of me when I came into the hospital. He displayed the core values. His quality of service was absolutely perfect and had excellent patient care. He showed compassion knowing that I had anxiety. He understood, he was knowledgeable and responsible when taking care of me. He was extremely attentive to my needs. He should facilitate a master class on how to receive a patient with care from beginning to end. We often hear complaints instead of taking the time to show gratitude for the health care providers who take such excellent care of patients. Ralph eased the anxiety I came in with. Ralph is a very knowledgeable and highly skilled ICU nurse. He is a good resource and a mentor. He is always willing to volunteer to teach and takes extra shifts to help his co-workers, not only in his unit but also in other areas. His caring behavior and engaging personality enable him to effectively interact with patients and his colleagues. Ralph has creative ideas to make things better. He is known as Mr. Fix All. He is very skilled at troubleshooting equipment from simple things like an electric stapler to CRRT machines, and cardiac monitors. He made a lot of important contributions during the COVID surge like putting markings on the floor, converting the regular rooms into negative pressures, and fit testing the staff for N95 masks. I am so proud of him.
