Allissa is an outstanding nurse. She is kind, considerate, and attentive. She has become part of our CHOC family and we are thankful when she is assigned J. She understands J's needs and a lot of the time when we are about to ask for a PRN or give a medication early, she is already bringing it in. She cares about her patients and their families. During our stay, we have had many difficult moments/conversations and Allissa has been a tremendous resource for us to discuss the options being presented. She is wise and knows how hard to push at certain times. Such a valuable skill to have in the PICU!
