Brenda provides extraordinary care to her patients and goes above and beyond to advocate for them. She takes the time to get to know her patients and gather information that can help us better manage their care and she does this with great empathy. For example, one of her patients who had a prolonged hospitalization was thought to still be confused, but what was not truly known was that the patient spoke another language and was not understanding the staff. Brenda took the time to talk to the patient's mother to better understand the patient. Her compassion and attention to detail made the staff more comfortable in the discharge planning for the patient. Brenda's care for the patient went above and beyond, and we are lucky to have her working on MOU.
