Ana Dias, has been a nurse at Riverview for 18 years. She started on 3 South and when her aunt passed suddenly from breast cancer, she knew oncology was her calling. Ana is unique, beautiful, and charming in so many ways. Every day Ana is brilliantly positive and uplifting to her patients. Ana turns on the charm and shines when walking into patients' rooms. Ana never lets stress affect patient care. One day, in particular, Ana had a young female patient with breast cancer that was going through a particular rough stay in the hospital and was in the process of a divorce. To cheer her up, Ana suggested they go down to the gift shop to purchase gifts. However, that was not enough. The nurse and others decided to choreograph a dance with music to entertain the patient and make her laugh. They brought the patient into the solarium where they performed their silly dance. Ana is well known for various accents and is famous for hysterical storytelling. Ana has a unique and funny look on life that makes patients and staff laugh every time. Ana has a bright, uplifting spirit and deserves to be recognized for her tremendous work. It is a privilege knowing Ana.
