This nurse is an exemplary nurse. Recently, we had a well-known patient first thing in the morning telling us she was not feeling well. We brought her back and as this nurse was doing her assessment the patient started to seize. This nurse took complete control of the situation and kept the patient as calm as possible. Even as the RR team was helping out, she never left her side and continued to hold her as she seized 2 more times. She was very calm but yet knew exactly what to do in order to keep the patient safe. The patient was safe and was brought back to the clinic for her treatment after being stabilized. This nurse was able to talk to her and I know the patient was so thankful that she was by her side in that scary moment. It was so sweet to experience that and it truly warmed my heart to see how much she cared for that patient at that specific moment.

This is not the first time she has shown kindness and a caring spirit toward a patient. On a second occasion, we had a very difficult patient have a hard day and the only nurse she wanted to see was this nurse, she felt comfort and safety with her as her nurse. I am very thankful to have her on our team. She is a kind, caring, and friendly nurse to all patients. She is also an excellent team player and is always willing to help out when needed.
