We were instantly amazed by Lindsey’s kindness, as she went above and beyond to make the three of us comfortable. We felt calm and confident when she was around.
We first came to the U.S. not knowing how we would be treated, being a married gay couple from Israel. We had nothing to worry about. We first met Lindsey following a sleepless night and stressful day with the birth of our daughter by our gestational carrier. We were two newbie parents, far away from home, with a tiny baby girl on our hands. We were instantly amazed by Lindsey’s kindness, as she went above and beyond to make the three of us comfortable. We felt calm and confident when she was around. She was so very patient with us and our sweet little girl, who didn't want to eat. She taught us so much in our time together. We were so blessed to have Lindsey caring for us for three nights in a row. We have no idea how we would have survived without her. It was quite scary being discharged, knowing we would have to manage on our own, without her support. We came back to the hospital to visit Lindsey before we left to fly back home to Israel. She was just as happy to see us as we were to see her. Lindsey immediately complimented us on M’s growth and told us we were doing an amazing job. Her patience, care, and love were so heartwarming to us. We will truly never forget Lindsey. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts. We wouldn't be the dads we are today without her. We will always teach M of our dear friend in the U.S., and she will know how caring her “Aunt Lindsey” is. Lindsey makes this world a better place.
