Mariah validated my feelings and literally held my hand through the process.
This was my second child and with my first, I had some PTSD resurface where my mother died right after I gave birth. So my anxiety was high and I found myself emotional and scared that something bad and unexpected would happen like that again. Mariah validated my feelings and literally held my hand through the process. I will be forever in debt to her not only as my L&D nurse but on a personal level. She has an empathy that exceeds most people in her job, and it enables her to be on an entirely different level that’s above anyone else. I’m so grateful she was my nurse. She is an extraordinary person and one of the best nurses I’ve ever had. Mariah, please know that you made a difference in my life and I will remember you forever. Thank you for helping me through a scary time and bringing my beautiful daughter into the world. My husband and I are so thankful.

I gave birth at TMMC and had a good experience. It was made especially good by the nurse on day shift at the time of my birth. Her name was Mariah. She was very supportive, kind, and skilled. I felt safe and cared for and her presence made me relax. She is the best nurse I have ever had! Give her some kudos! Mariah was amazing in helping deliver my first baby. I was so anxious, in pain, and really going through it. Her encouragement, cheerleading, careful explanations, and support made the experience so much better. I am so deeply grateful that she was my L&D nurse. Please recognize her excellence and deep appreciation from me and my husband and new baby.
