From the moment we entered the room, we could sense a wonderful, warm, friendly, caring atmosphere. Laura not only assisted my sister who was in a lot of discomfort with dizziness, vomiting, and nausea, but she immediately helped me after attending to my sister who was the patient. When my sister needed a blanket, she got that for her, and each time offered her assistance to me. Laura was so kind and helpful. I feel like I want to shout it from the rooftops. Please realize that Ochsner has a true gem here and grant her a caring award. I would highly recommend her to any healthcare facility, she is a truly compassionate nurse and shows empathy to the highest calling. I would hope that any of my family or friends could get her on their team if they were to come to Ochsner again. My sister almost passed away years ago with sepsis, and had it not been for the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for stepping in to help her, she may not have survived. Thank God Ochsner is her healthcare provider, and she can depend on a team nurse like Laura to care for a sick patient like my sister. Laura continued to help in any way. Her professionalism and caring skills are top-notch. Thank you for hiring this gem. She gives of herself and with a warm smile and caring heart to a hurting world.
