Angela is dedicated to the patients on the 7th floor and is always willing to go the extra mile to make their stay here a pleasant one.
Angela is an amazing nurse and team leader. She advocates for her patients and staff to make sure they have everything they need. She continually supplies her staff with proper education and training. She is compassionate, caring, and always has a smile on her face. She takes the time to assist nurses and PCTs with floor duties, turning patients, and teaching bedside skills. Angela listens to her staff and utilizes that knowledge to make a better working environment for everyone. She makes everyone in the unit feel like a family.

I started as a PSNI on the 7th floor and after I graduated, Angela offered me a nursing position during the Covid pandemic. Despite starting as a new nurse during a pandemic, Angela made my transition to nursing very smooth with her welcoming and supportive environment. Angela sets high expectations that encourage us to provide quality patient care while advocating for our needs. Over the past two years, I have seen countless former nurse classmates in other hospitals who are burned out and discouraged with their work experience. I truly believe I would have been one of them had it not been for Angela’s wonderful support, training, and encouragement.

I have been with UW Health SwedishAmerican for more than 20 years. I can honestly say I have never had a manager show more concern and dedication to her staff and unit than Angela has. She is always present on the floor, greets everyone with a smile, and is always willing to help out. Angela encourages staff to grow in their personal practice and offers to assist staff in meeting their goals. She will cry with you, laugh with you, and support you 100%. Her devotion should be commended.
